The Pakistan Baking Summit is the country’s foremost event dedicated to advancing the baking and confectionery industry. As a unique platform, the summit gathers key stakeholders, including industry professionals, manufacturers, entrepreneurs, and suppliers, to engage in meaningful dialogue, innovation, and collaboration. It focuses on addressing the most pressing challenges and unlocking new opportunities for growth within Pakistan’s thriving baking sector.

World Baking Day is celebrated to increase the common public awareness about all aspects of the Baking Origin, value chain and various baked products including its economic importance throughout the globe. Various members of the health organizations take part in the celebration to work together in order to distribute the message of Baking importance to the common public through the promotional activities all through the day.

National Alliance for Safe Food proposes to hold a Pakistan Baking Summit on World Baking Day involving all the stakeholders in Baking value chain to focus on potential of export of baked products from Pakistan. Theme of the Conference will be aligned with the one already set by FAO with more focus on Pakistan’s market situation, i.e Sustainable and Affordable Baking to build safe nation.

National Alliance for Safe Food will engage Pakistan Food Association, Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), Nutrition International, SMEDA, Karachi Association of Sweets & Nimko and Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN) as the main collaborators of the event. NAFS is already actively involved with these international agencies and has signed the required MOUs. It is high time to take all these agencies on board well before they intend to celebrate the event with any other organization.  We will also engage all Food Authorities/Regulators as our partners for the event.

National Alliance for Safe Food (NASF) is already engaged with NASA-An Event Management Company and will be our partner for the event. It is the need of the hour to come out of the mindset from the survival mode to be proactive and become competitive in the global market. We need to work on the importance of export of Bake products from Pakistan and our aim of the upcoming events will be to draw the attention of all stakeholders towards the export markets along with the fulfilment of local nutritional requirements.
